Our HP Indigo Digital Presses are unique in that they use liquid ink rather than toner. No heat is used to fuse the ink on to the sheet and there is no oil residue on the printed sheets. This revolutionary technology produces exceptional results. The finished prints have the 'feel' of Litho Printing rather than Photocopies. There are no problems laminating or encapsulating the finished print and no cracking of the print from the paper on fold lines. The machines are able to print on a wide range of paper weights

With Digital Print short runs, prototypes and full personalisation - areas made impractical by the higher setup costs of conventional Litho Print - are possible.
In its simplest form Digital Printing allows short runs of print to be economically produced with quantities as low as just one copy. This makes it ideal for market testing or limited distribution documents.
The possibilities of Digital Printing however extend much further than simply for small volume print. The real power of Digital Print is in the possibility for true personalisation.
Print runs can be printed from a variable data master document. Some or all of the elements of this master document being controlled by the contents of a database.
This can be as simple as the document having the name and address of the customer embedded in the text, to actual picture elements being printed according to the known preferences of the particular customer!
